Izan Rubio & Gustavo Them – classical guitars

Izan Rubio, a prominent Catalan performer, has been the only resident guitarist-musician at the Fundació Catalunya – La Pedrera. Gustavo Them, also a Catalan guitarist and composer, was a teacher for seven years at “St. Mary’s College of Maryland” and the “Baltimore School for the Arts” in the United States. Together, the Rubio-Them Duo form a new current of experimental interpreters who explore a global concept with the proposal “Ricercare”, a reunion with the simplicity of living matter and the elements that surround it.
