This year the festival will take place from June 29 to August 24, two intense months of activities where the guitar instrument is once again the protagonist, inviting other string instruments, wind instruments, percussions and the always good company of the singing voice. All in different heritage places of the region that will be added with cultural and gastronomic experiences, with the support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Lleida and the Institut d’Estudis Ilerdencs and under the umbrella of a large part of the Town councils of the region.

The Consell Comarcal de les Garrigues is willing to claim this universal teacher internationally, complementing the Symposium, which has been held since 2012, with two initiatives, a course and a contest, which will expand the knowledge of the illustrious guitarist.

The Campus Emili Pujol – Guitar Clinic is an innovative research course in body and mind balance combined with the technical study of classical guitar under the pedagogical philosophy of maestro Pujol, and which will also include a contest, the Emili Pujol International Guitar Contest, with The purpose of publicizing his compositional work, which was largely created in Mas Janet, his farmhouse located between La Granadella and Torrebesses.

These initiatives form the Emili Pujol Universe concept, which aims to give visibility and international repercussion from the web.
