Geographies invites the viewer to let themselves be carried away on a journey accompanied by music from different parts of the world that have something in common: their strong roots in folk and popular airs. In general, this music is performed only with the guitar and in the context of classical music. Double bass and percussion come together to fill each piece with rhythm and creativity.
Garrigues Guitar Festival
International meeting of plucked string instruments with the manifestation of the highest figures of all time, thus recovering and disseminating the figure and the musicological work carried out by the master pedagogue Emili Pujol throughout his life. It was born in 2012 as a musical proposal that the master Pujol himself projected in the 1970s, promoting, as a cultural expression, music to all corners of his native land.
Where is it done?
They develop between the towns of the Garrigues region and some of the Historic Garrigues, in the province of Lleida.
When is it organized?
It is organized during the summer season, from the end of June, the beginning of July to the end of August.
